Oh! Let the uncompromisingly righteous say to their God
‘As with a shield
You surround me with Your favour.
As with a shield
Your pleasure and delight in me
Surrounds and protects.
You encompass me about
And I am in the centre of Your love;
Anointed, overwhelmed,
And I am helpless
Wholly dependent upon You
Aba, Father.
I will praise You
I will every sing and shout for joy
For You have made a covering over me
And I am safe in the centre of Your love and favour
Enveloped by Your protection.
What can I fear?
As with a shield You surround me with Your favour
And I walk in the centre of Your will.’
